As a social enterprise we have worked with over 930 adults since we opened in 2017. We have helped a huge number of individual Blackpool residents with 6000 annual hours of counselling help at considerably reduced rates.
We have identified a need to start to work with more young people; following our recent growth as well as having opened a new premises in Blackpool to help meet demands overall. We are writing to invite local business and companies to consider a donation, sponsorship or being part of ‘Pay it Forward’ in 2022. This means being able to contribute to someone in desperate need receiving our services in the future through a donation.
Currently 30% of our clients can afford a small donation to our costs and we aim to increase this with your support. We are finalising our Charity Commission registration as we speak, having run as a not for profit social enterprise so far.
1 in 4 people will suffer from mental health problems at sometime in their life.
Here at Counselling in the Community we offer a safe space to explore your feelings, to be heard, improving your self-esteem and self-awareness.
